About Helen & Dave Howard
Husband & wife team Dave & Helen Howard originally hale from Lancashire in the UK. They have lived in Kilkenny for 14 years but in 2012 they returned to Bury. They met in 1960, and have been making sweet music together ever since! Helen is an accomplished singer and MC, and a gifted artist - she painted the cover image below herself. Dave worked as a sound engineer for the BBC before taking retirement and setting up his own recording studio in Kilkenny. An expert guitarist, he has also played with the renowned Oldham Tinkers for many years.
